January 17th, 2016 - Weiss Makes Feature in Final Night at USA Raceway
aReturning to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Wednesday for night three of the Wild West Shootout, Ricky Weiss logged an 8th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the feature, Weiss edged his way into the main event with a 3rd place finish. Battling for a $5,000 payday, Ricky gained six spots in the 30-lap A-Main recording an 18th place finish.

On Friday night in a field of sixty Super Late Models, Ricky Weiss transferred into the B-Main after placing 7th in his heat. Battling for a 3rd place finish or better to make the $5,000-to-win feature, Ricky logged an 8th place outing.

Starting on the 3rd row for his heat on Saturday night, Ricky registered a 5th place spot sending him into the B-Main for one more shot at the feature event. Coming up one position short of a transfer spot into the main event, Weiss recorded a 4th place finish.

Competing in the final night of action in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout, Ricky Weiss was one of fifty-three entries signed in for the top prize of $11,000 in the 50-lap feature event. Improving two spots in his heat, Ricky landed a runner-up finish behind Steve Francis sending him into the main event with a 6th row starting spot. January 10th, 2016 - Ricky Weiss Begins 2016 Season at Wild West Shootout
aRicky Weiss kicked off the 2016 season by making the trek to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday for the 10th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout. Drawing sixty Super Late Models, Ricky was slated to start on 3rd row for his heat. Logging a 4th place finish, Weiss transferred into the B-Main with one more shot at the $5,000-to-win feature. Needing a 3rd place or better, Ricky Weiss fell one spot short with a 4th place outing.

The following night in a field of fifty-seven entries, Ricky logged a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the consolation event. Transferring the top three into the feature,  Weiss recorded a 5th place finish.
