April 29th, 2017 - Ricky Weiss Tallies a 11th and 12th Place Finish Over the Weekend
aPowering the A.I.E Communications #7 Super Late Model, Ricky Weiss was one of 34 Super Late Models signed in at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Friday night for the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned Scott Sexton Memorial. After laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Weiss posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mike Marlar positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the feature. With $10,052 on the line, Ricky slipped back to an 11th place outing in the 52-lapper.

The following night Ricky stopped at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned program. With 36 cars on hand for the Rockin’ with the Stars 50, Weiss secured his spot into the $7,500-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat. April 15th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish for Weiss in Spring Showdown at Ponderosa
Back with the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals series, Ricky Weiss visited Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) on Friday for the $4,000-to-win Spring Showdown. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Ricky fell one spot in the 40-lap affair registering a 4th place finish behind Brandon Overton, Jason Jameson, and Mike Marlar with Kent Robinson coming in 5th. aOn Saturday 33 Spring Nationals entries headed to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the $5,000 top prize. Recording a 4th place finish in his 10-lap heat race, Weiss rolled off 20th for the A-Main. Losing one position in the 50-lapper, Ricky dropped back to a 24th place outing.

April 1st, 2017 - Ricky Weiss Places 12th With Lucas Oil at Duck River
aOn Saturday night Ricky Weiss traveled to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the unsanctioned Spring Shootout. Failing to lock his spot into the show via qualifying, Weiss landed a 3rd place finish in his B-Main sending him into the main event. With $7,500 on the line, Ricky lost five spots in the 50-lapper to place 15th.

Sunday brought Weiss to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) to a field of 27 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries. Transferring the Top 6 out of the heats, Weiss landed a 4th place spot positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the feature. Dropping two positions, Ricky Weiss recorded a 12th place outing.
