July 26, 2018 - Ricky Weiss Stays Undefeated at Red River Co-op Speedway
Ricky Weiss invaded Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday evening piloting his A.I.E. Communications #7 Super Late Model entry. Gaining four spots in his heat, Weiss cruised to an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the A-Main. July 21, 2018 - Ricky Weiss Lands Runner-up Finish in Silver Dollar Nationals
On Tuesday night Ricky Weiss traveled to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen, South Dakota) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Bullet Sportswear Shootout. In a field of 24 cars, Ricky locked his spot into the show with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Bobby Pierce. aThe following night at Jackson Motorplex (Jackson, Minnesota) for the Sturdevant’s Auto Parts 50, Weiss scored a 5th place finish in his heat positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Ricky improved seven spots reeling in a 7th place finish.

On Thursday night at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) for the Malvern Bank Go 50, Weiss locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Kyle Bronson. Rolling off 7th, Ricky ran into mechanical issues on lap-10 that prevented him from finishing the 50-lapper.

Returning on Friday night for two rounds of heat races, Weiss cruised to an 11-lap heat race victory in his first round. Starting in 9th in his second heat, Ricky gained six spots reeling in a 3rd place finish.

Earning the 5th-starting positon for the $53,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Weiss slipped by Scott Bloomquist for the lead on lap-17. Losing the top spot to Bloomquist on lap-21, Ricky held on to a podium finish in the remaining 59 circuits scoring a runner-up finish behind Jonathan Davenport with Jimmy Owens, Hudson O’Neal, Earl Pearson Jr. rounding out the Top-5.

July 14, 2018 - Weiss Wins at Red River; Top 5 Finish With World of Outlaws at River Cities Speedway
Thursday night found Ricky Weiss in action at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) competing in a field of 12 Super Late Models. Passing two cars in his heat, Weiss landed a runner-up finish behind Shane Edginton locking him into the 8th-starting position for the A-Main. Wheeling his way to the front, Ricky held off Mike Balcaen at the line to register his 13th win of the season. The following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned program, Weiss followed up the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying with a 10-lap heat race victory. aOn Saturday night at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota), Ricky locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind David Breazeale. Starting in 4th, Weiss fell two positions logging a 6th place outing.

July 7, 2018 - Ricky Records Two-Win Weekend; 11th Place Finish in Gopher 50 at Deer Creek
Ricky Weiss was one of 11 WISSOTA Super Late Models on hand at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday evening for the regular night of racing. Passing three cars in his heat, Weiss reeled in a runner-up finish behind Mike Martin positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the feature. On Friday night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Weiss charged to an 8-lap heat race victory from the 5th-starting spot. Earning the pole position for the A-Main, Ricky navigated his way through lap-traffic in the final laps to capture his 12th win of the season over Mike Balcaen, Brad Seng, Ryan Corbett, and Joey Pederson.

aThe following night Weiss stopped at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for the 39th annual Gopher 50. In a field of 30 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries, Ricky secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Coming shy of a Top-10 finish, Ricky Weiss dropped two spots in the 50-lapper logging an 11th place outing.
