June 28, 2018 - 10th Win of the Season for Weiss at Red River
Thursday night brought Ricky Weiss to Red Rive Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) competing in a field of 13 Super Late Models. Gaining five spots in his 8-lap heat, Weiss landed a 2nd place finish behind Shane Edginton locking his spot into the main event. June 23, 2018 - Ricky Weiss Captures Ninth Win of the Season at Red River
Powering the Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Super Late Model, Ricky Weiss traveled to Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday evening. Passing six cars in his heat race, Weiss streaked to an 8-lap victory locking his spot into the main event. aThe following night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Ricky secured his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mike Balcaen. Battling with Dustin Strand for the top spot in the feature, Weiss came up short at line to place 2nd behind Strand with Troy Schill, Mike Balcaen, and Brody Troftgruben rounding out the Top-5.

aWrapping up the three-day weekend, Weiss stopped at Greenbush Race Park (Greenbush, Minnesota) on Saturday for the Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) sanctioned Jack Grahn Memorial. Gaining four spots in his heat race, Weiss recorded a 3rd place finish positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $1,500 on the line, Ricky Weiss gained one spot in the 25-lapper reeling in a 4th place finish behind Dustin Strand, Brad Seng, and Joey Pederson with Bill Mooney coming in 5th.

June 15, 2018 - Weiss Finds Victory Lane in Exciting Fashion at River Cities Speedway
Friday night found Ricky Weiss in action at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) competing in a field of 22 Super Late Models for the Northern Late Model Racing Association sanctioned contest. Jumping up two spots in his 8-lap heat, Weiss recorded a runner-up finish behind Donny Schatz positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot by the third lap, Ricky slipped past Donny Schatz for the lead on lap-6 with 19 circuits remaining. Building a comfortable lead after a restart, Ricky Weiss held of a hard-charging Dustin Strand in in final five laps to pick up his eighth win of the season and a $1,200 payday. June 9, 2018 - Pair of Top 10 Finishes in Dream Prelims; 12th in Saturday's Finale
aAfter Mother Nature postponed Thursday’s opener to Friday, Ricky Weiss was one of 78 Super Late Models signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday kicking off the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Following the second fastest time overall behind Tim McCreadie, Weiss locked his spot into the A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat. With $5,000 on the line, Ricky passed six cars in the 25-lapper reeling in an 8th place finish.

Later Friday evening, Weiss locked his spot into the final $10,000-to-win preliminary feature with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting in 2nd, Ricky dropped three positions in the 25-lap affair to place 5th behind Chris Madden, Shane Clanton, Bobby Pierce, and Hudson O’Neal. (Heath Lawson photo)

On Saturday night for the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream, Weiss locked his spot into the $100,000-to-win finale with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 13th, Ricky improved one spot in the 100-lapper notching a 12th place finish.

June 3, 2018 - Ricky Weiss Bags Challenge Cup XVIII Victory at Dakota State Fair Speedway
On Thursday night Ricky Weiss returned with the WISSOTA Challenge Series for the Iverson Late Model Challenge at Dakota State Fair Speedway (Huron, South Dakota). Passing three cars in his heat race, Weiss landed a 4th place finish positioning him 13th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Ricky improved 11 positions to place 2nd behind Don Shaw with Kent Arment, A.J. Diemel, and Jake Redetzke completing the Top-5 finishers. (CRP photos)

After taking Friday night off, Weiss was one of 44 Super Late Models on hand at Dakota State Fair Speedway (Huron, South Dakota) on Saturday evening for the WISSOTA Challenge Series sanctioned Challenge Cup XVIII. Following a 10-lap heat race win in his first heat, Ricky passed 10 cars in his second heat to pick up the victory. Earning the pole position, Ricky Weiss topped the 25-car field to pick up his seventh win of the season and a $10,000 payday. Don Shaw, Pat Doar, Marshall Fegers, and Kent Arment completing the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.

aOn Sunday evening Ricky stopped at Casino Speedway (Watertown, South Dakota) for the WISSOTA Challenge Series sanctioned Marilyn Olson Memorial. In a field of 31 cars, Ricky started the night off with a heat race win positioning him on the pole for the feature. After jumping out to a comfortable lead, Weiss made contact with the infield tire barrier on lap 35 dropping him back to a 15th place outing.
