May 27, 2018 - Weiss Wins Red River Co-op Speedway Season Opener; Picks Up $2K Win at Viking Speedway
Ricky Weiss kicked off the Memorial Day Weekend at Red River Co-op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday night for the track’s season opener. Gaining one spot in his heat race, Weiss streaked to an 8-lap heat race win locking him on the pole for the feature. aOn Friday night at I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota) for the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Challenge Series sanctioned program, Weiss jumped up three spots in his 12-lap heat to place 5th. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main, Ricky improved eight spots reeling in a 3rd place finish behind John Kaanta and Darrell Nelson with Pat Doar and Don Shaw rounding out the Top-5.

The following night Ricky followed the WISSOTA Challenge Series to Viking Speedway (Alexandria, Minnesota) for the two-day special. Passing three cars in his heat, Weiss charged to a heat race win positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Outrunning 2nd-starting Marshall Fegers, Ricky Weiss topped the 25-car field in the A-Main to capture his sixth win of the season and a $2,000 payday. Wrapping up the Memorial Day Weekend on Sunday, Weiss held his spot in his 12-lap heat race registering a 2nd place finish behind James Giossi. Earning the 9th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win finale, Ricky passed seven cars to place 2nd behind Don Shaw with John Kaanta, Pat Doar, and Steve Laursen rounding out the Top-5.

May 19, 2018 - 11th Place Finish in NAPA North Star Nationals at Deer Creek
After losing Friday’s Northern Late Model Racing Association sanctioned program at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) to bad weather, Ricky Weiss headed to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Saturday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned NAPA Auto Parts North Star Nationals. Following a 6th place finish in his heat race, Weiss streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory positioning him 17th on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-10 finish, Ricky Weiss jumped up six positions in the 50-lapper to place 11th. (Heath Lawson photo)

Sunday night’s Go-50 at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) was postponed to July 19 by Mother Nature.

May 12, 2018 - Ricky Weiss Wins at River Cities Speedway
Friday night brought Ricky Weiss to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) competing in a field of 16 Super Late Models. Passing five cars in his heat, Weiss streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the feature. Outrunning pole-starting Dustin Strand, Ricky Weiss soared to his fourth win of the season topping Strand, Bill Mooney, Mike Balcaen, and Ryan Corbett at the finish line. (CRP photo)

aThe following night at Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota), Ricky locked his spot into the A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Dustin Strand. Rolling off 7th, Weiss had built a comfortable lead until late when Strand starting reeling him in. Making contact on the final corner of the last lap, Ricky was sentenced to the tail dropping him back to an 8th place finish.

May 5, 2018 - Weiss Attends WISSOTA Challenge Series Opener at Ogilvie
aRick Weiss traveled to Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) on Saturday night for the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Challenge Series sanctioned opener. After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Ricky was a scratch from the $3,000-to-win A-Main.
