July 27, 2019 - Weiss Records 4th Place Finish in PDC at Fairbury Speedway
aRicky Weiss was one 25 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Wednesday night for the $10,000 top prize. Recording a 4th place finish in his heat race, Weiss earned the 11th-starting position for the opening night feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Ricky jumped up five positions to place 6th.

1Friday night brought 72 World of Outlaws competitors to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) kicking off the 30th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. Timing in eighth fastest in his group, Ricky locked into the 4th-starting position for his $2,500-to-win preliminary feature. Jumping up one spot in the 25-lap affair, Weiss posted a 3rd place finish behind Shane Clanton and Billy Drake with Kent Robinson and Ashton Winger rounding out the Top-5. (Todd Healy photo)

On Saturday night with his spot already locked into the $30,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic, Ricky Weiss passed eight cars in the 100-lapper reeling in a 4th place finish behind Brandon Sheppard, Mike Marlar, and Bobby Pierce with Gordy Gundaker coming in 5th.

July 20, 2019 - 14th Place Finish in Silver Dollar Nationals
aThursday night found Ricky Weiss in action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Malvern Bank Go 50. With 45 cars registered in for action, Weiss posted an 11th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Ricky logged a 9th place outing.

aReturning on Friday afternoon for the ninth annual Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Ricky followed up a 7th place finish in his first heat with a heat race victory in his second round. Starting on the front row of his B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the main event, Weiss captured a 17-lap consolation win securing his spot into the finale. With $53,000 on the line, Ricky Weiss rebounded to place 14th out drawing a caution on lap 32.

July 14, 2019 - Weiss Lands Podium Finish at ABC Raceway
1On Tuesday night Ricky Weiss followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to ABC Raceway (Ashland, Wisconsin) kicking off the northern swing. Drawing 25 cars for the Red’s Auto Badgerland 50, Weiss secured his spot into the opening night feature with a 10-lap heat race victory. aReturning to action on Friday at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota), Ricky landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Shane Clanton which positioned him 6th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Weiss improved four spots to place 2nd behind Brandon Sheppard with Dennis Erb Jr., Shane Clanton, and Darrell Lanigan trailing them to the checkers.

The following night at Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota), Weiss followed up the second fastest lap overall in time trials with a heat race victory. Dropping five spots in the 50-lap feature, Ricky logged a 6th place finish.

July 6, 2019 - Runner-up Finish in Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway
aThe World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series brought 21 competitors to Independence Motor Speedway (Independence, Iowa) on Friday evening for the $10,000 top prize. Coming in 2nd in his heat behind Brandon Sheppard, Ricky Weiss locked into the 4th-starting position for the A-Main. Hanging on to a Top-10 finish in the 50-lap affair, Ricky fell five spots to place 9th.

1The following night at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for the Gopher 50, Ricky landed a 3rd place finish in his heat which positioned him 9th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win finale.
