October 19, 2019 - Weiss Attends Dirt Track World Championship at PRP
1On Friday evening Ricky Weiss was one of 66 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries on hand at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the 39th annual Rhino Ag Dirt Track World Championship. With a new format setting the grid for the $100,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Weiss followed up the 14th fastest time in his group with a 4th place finish in his heat. (Heath Lawson photo)

aTransferring into the B-Main on Saturday, Ricky grabbed the third and final transfer spot which positioned him 21st on the starting grid for the main event. After pitting under caution on lap 15, Weiss brought out a caution on lap 53 that dropped him back to a 23rd place outing.

October 5, 2019 - Top 10 Finish in Outlaw Action at 411 Motor Speedway
aRicky Weiss followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series to Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Georgia) on Thursday night kicking off the tripleheader. With 22 cars registered in for action, Weiss recorded the second fastest lap overall in time trials before cruising to an 8-lap feature. Starting the opening night feature in 4th, Ricky was battling for a Top 5 spot the majority of the race until contact with another competitor on lap 43 sent him spinning. Unable to finish, Weiss was credited with a 14th place outing.

On Friday evening at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the inaugural Mike Duvall Memorial, Ricky dropped one spot in his heat to place 5th. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 15th, Weiss improved one position in the 50-lapper to place 14th.
