Weiss finished second his heat race behind Mike Balcaen, earning him the eighth starting spot for the feature.
In the main event, Weiss climbed through the field and made an outside pass on the frontstretch to assume the point from Shane Edginton with eight laps remaining.
From there, Ricky opened a huge lead over his nearest competitors, taking the checkered flag a full-straightaway ahead of Edginton. Brad Seng finished third, with Mike Balcaen and Mike Martin rounding out the top five finishers.

Weiss went into battle against a field of twenty-two Late Models on Friday night at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota).
Ricky charged to a convincing heat race win to lock into the finale. In the feature he set the pace for much of the event before getting caught in lap traffic, and slipping back to a runner up finish behind Brad Seng. Donny Schatz, Joey Penderson, and Dustin Strand completed the remainder of the top five.

The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night at I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota), as twenty-one Late Models converged on the oval.
By virtue of the draw, Ricky started at the back of his heat race. He advanced to a fourth place finish, earning him the eleventh starting spot on the feature grid.
During the course of the finale, Weiss advanced to an eighth place finish in the final rundown.
