Ricky Weiss made the trip to Red River Co-Op Speedway (Winnipeg, Manitoba) on Thursday night competing in his Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist/Pro Power Racing Super Late Model. In a smaller field of 8 cars, Weiss charged from his 8th place starting spot in his heat retiring a 3rd place finish. Starting in 5th for the feature, Ricky logged a runner-up finish behind Mike Balcaen with Bill Mooney, Kevin Sexton, and Paul Veert completing the top five.
On Friday night Ricky headed to Amsoil Speedway (Superior, Wisconsin) for an OneMain WISSOTA Challenge Series (WCS) Event. Logging a 6th place finish in his heat, Ricky would have to battle back from his mid-pack starting spot. With $2,000 on the line, Weiss registered a 14th place finish.
