Tuesday night’s $7,000-to-win program fell victim to Mother Nature. Competition resumed on Wednesday with the winner’s check increasing to $10,000-to-win. Forty-eight entries filled the pit area, and Ricky earned the fourth starting spot in his heat race via qualifications. He settled to a seventh place finish in heat race action, sending him to a b-main. Weiss failed to reach a transfer position in the b-main which forced him to utilize a provisional starting spot to gain access to the 40-lap feature. After starting 26th on the grid, Weiss moved forward early on before retiring to a 22nd place finish in the final rundown.
