With $5,000 on the line in the opening night A-Main, Ricky fell back to a 21st place outing.

The following night starting on the fourth row of his heat, Weiss came one spot short of a transfer position with a 5th place finish. With the weather cancelling Wednesday night’s portion of the Wrisco Winternationals, Weiss was one of 45 Super Late Models signed in at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) on Thursday for the $7,000-to-win main event. Falling back to a 9th place finish in his heat after bringing out a caution on the second-to-last lap, Weiss transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the feature. Coming short of a transfer spot with a 5th place finish, Ricky had one final shot at the A-Main with an appearance in the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash. Taking only the race winner, Ricky wheeled his way to the front earning the 24th-starting position for the feature. Moving up seven positions, Ricky Weiss logged a 17th place outing.

Returning on Friday night for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Ricky earned the 9th-starting position for his heat via qualifying. Coming two spots short of a transfer position with a 6th finish, Weiss transferred into the B-Main. Failing to place in the Top 6 in the 12-lap consolation event, Ricky had one final shot at the feature with the DirtonDirt.com Strawberry Dash. Starting in 4th, Weiss slipped back to a 9th place outing bringing an early end to his night.

Saturday night’s $12,000-to-win LOLMDS finale was cancelled due to bad weather.
