On Friday night, Weiss returned with the World of Outlaws at Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.) for the two two-day Hoosier Dirt Shootout. With 32 cars on hand for the event in place of the Prairie Dirt Classic, Ricky posted eighth fastest time in his group, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the $2,500-to-win preliminary feature. On Saturday night needing a sixth place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $25,000-to-win Hoosier Dirt Shootout finale, Weiss took part in a quick attempt to complete the 12-lap consolation before the rain postponed it to Sunday afternoon. Continued rain overnight and on Sunday morning forced race officials to postpone the finale to a later date.

Ricky is currently in second in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings. For more results from these events and complete standings, please visit
