Top-5 finish in World Finals at Charlotte; finishes fifth in WoO point standings

To wrap up the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series campaign, Ricky Weiss invaded the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Friday afternoon for the NGK NTK World Finals. With 48 Late Models on hand, Weiss followed up the second-fastest time in his group with a heat race win. Receiving the pole position for the A-Main via the redraw, Ricky dropped four spots in the 40-lap affair to register a fifth-place finish.
