Ricky Weiss Makes Appearance at Dacotah Speedway

Ricky Weiss continued his 2015 season piloting the Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist/Pro Power Racing Super Late Model at Dacotah Speedway (Mandan, North Dakota). After capturing a heat win from 5th place, Ricky went on to record a 2nd place finish in the A-Main behind Aaron Turnbull with Jeremy Keller, Mike Balcaen, and Tyson Turnull rounding out the top five.

The following night at Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Saskatchewan), Ricky Weiss climbed five positons in the feature to register a 2nd place finish, getting beat out by Aaron Turnbull with Steven Pfeifer, Hank Berry and Devin Raynard finishing in the top five.

Ricky Weiss Captures a Win at River Cities Speedway

On Friday night Weiss Racing continued on his successful 2015 season traveling to River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota). From the beginning of the night Ricky was on top of things and manage to win his heat with a field of 8 cars. Later that night Ricky continued on with his successful ways capturing a 1st place finish making that his 4th victory in the month of May.

The following night brought Ricky Weiss to Viking Speedway (Alexandria, Minnesota) for a Northern Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) event. After moving four spots from 6th to 2nd in his heat, Ricky earned a spot into the A-Main. Starting 5th in the feature, Ricky went on to move up two positions to record a 3rd place finish behind Brad Seng and Cody Skytland.Sunday night’s event at Viking Speedway was cancelled due to the weather.

Ricky Weiss Takes 5th Place Finish at River Cities Speedway

Ricky Weiss’s 2015 season continued on as he traveled to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks North Dakota. He started his heat in 5th place and worked his way up to capture a heat win. Following the heat win, Ricky started 5th for the feature event. No spots were lost or gained for Ricky at River Cities Speedway as he ended with a solid 5th place positon.

The following night at Viking Speedway in Alexandria Minnesota was rained out.

Ricky Weiss Wins Second-Straight at I-94; Victorious at Viking

Ricky Weiss went two-for-two at I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota) in 2015 on Friday evening by sweeping the event in his Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist/Pro Power Racing Late Model.

Ricky won his heat race from the 4th starting spot and then backed it up by charging from the 8th starting position on the feature grid to snag the victory. Full results from the event are available at

Saturday night took the team back to Viking Speedway (Alexandria, Minnesota). The night started with the previous week’s feature, which was postponed due to rain, being contested. Ricky enjoyed a great run in the feature as he charged from the 6th starting spot to the victory. He was followed across the finish line by Zach Johnson, Matt Aukland, Jeff Wildung, and Cody Skytland.

With a stout field of eighteen entries in action in the new program, Ricky earned the 8th starting spot for the feature. He would go on to advance six spots to register a 2nd place finish to race winner, Cody Skytland. Full results from the event are available at

Ricky Weiss Takes First Win of ’15 with I-94 Triumph

Ricky Weiss powered his Derrick’s Sandblasting #7 Bloomquist/Pro Power Racing Super Late Model to his first win of the season on Friday evening. The triumph came at I-94 Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minnesota).

Weiss started his outing with a seventh to second charge in his heat race to earn the pole for the feature. In the finale Ricky led every lap to score the win over Eric Breeschoten, Matt Aukland, Cody Skytland, and Kevin Robertson.
