Last-minute plans result in third-place finish at Senoia Raceway

Saturday night found Ricky Weiss in action at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Hence and Reba Pollard Memorial. In a field of 37 cars, Weiss followed up the second-fastest time in his group with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in fourth, Ricky clawed frowad one spot in the 52-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He trailed Ashton Winger and Brandon Overton across the line with Austin Horton and Shane Clanton rounding out the Top-5.

Podium finish in FloRacing stop at Bulls Gap

Ricky Weiss returned with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series on Wednesday evening at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the $10,000 prize. With 28 Late Models entered, Weiss outdueled polesitter Mack McCarter in his heat race to pick up the win. Rolling off third for the main event, Ricky faded outside the top-five early but a late-race charge in the 40-lapper resulted in a third-place finish. Ricky Weiss scores Top-10 finish at 411

On Tuesday afternoon, Ricky Weiss made a mid-week trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) to compete in the sixth round of the rain-plagued Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series. In a field of 26 cars, Ricky’s second-place finish in his heat race positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the $20,000-to-win A-Main. Sixth-place finish in Butterball Wooldridge Memorial at Richmond

Ricky Weiss was one of 28 Ultimate Heart of America Series entries on hand at Richmond Raceway (Richmond, Ky.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Butterball Wooldridge Memorial. After his time trial effort relegated him into the B-Main on Saturday, Weiss streaked to a consolation victory, locking his spot into the show.

Rolling off 17th for the $20,059-to-win A-Main, Ricky advanced through the field 11 spots in the 59-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.

Top-5 finish with World of Outlaws Senoia

Picking back up with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Ricky Weiss invaded Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Friday afternoon for the Mike Duvall Memorial. The following night at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Ricky timed in eighth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 11th, Weiss advanced forward six spots in the 40-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Ashton Winger, Chris Madden, Mark Whitener, and Tyler Bruening across the line.
