Tuesday night saw Ricky Weiss return with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Beaver Dam Raceway (Beaver Dam, Wis.) piloting his J&C Properties No. 7 Late Model. Passing three cars in his heat race to finish third, Weiss earned the ninth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. After a scheduled off-day on Wednesday, Ricky headed to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) on Thursday night to kick off the 33rd annual USA Nationals weekend. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, Weiss streaked to a 10-lap consolation victory. With $6,000 on the line in the preliminary feature, Ricky jumped up three spots to place 15th.

On Friday night for a pair of heat races, Weiss improved one spot in his first round to finish sixth. Losing one spot in his second heat, Ricky logged a fourth place finish, positioning him 26th overall in passing points.

Rolling off fifth in his B-Main on Saturday evening, Ricky came one spot short of a transfer position with a fifth place outing, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the $50,000-to-win USA Nationals. Charging forward 19 spots in the 100-lap affair, Ricky Weiss notched a sixth place finish.

Ricky sits in second in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
