Top-10 finish in World of Outlaws stop at Plymouth

Competing in a doubleheader weekend in the Hoosier State, Ricky Weiss invaded Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday evening as World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series made its debut at the brand new facility. After a flat tire in time trials prevented him recording a lap, Weiss secured his spot into the opening night feature with an eight-lap consolation victory. Rolling off 17th, Ricky gained three spots in the 40-lapper to finish 14th. (Rich LaBrier photo)

The following night at Plymouth Speedway (Plymouth, Ind.), Ricky came in fourth in his heat, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Holding his spot for all 40 laps, Weiss posted a 10th-place finish.

Ricky is fourth in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
