Starting the opening night feature in seventh via a runner-up performance in his heat, Weiss clawed froward one spot in the 50-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish.

With Mother Nature axing Saturday’s program at I-94 Sure Step Speedway (Fergus Falls, Minn.), Ricky wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at Red Cedar Speedway (Menomonie, Wis.) for the $10,000-to-win finale. Following the fourth-fastest qualifying lap, Weiss secured his spot into the finale with a second-place finish in his heat race. Gaining three spots in the 40-lapper, Ricky raced to a second-place finish, which came behind Mike Marlar with Dennis Erb Jr. rounding out the podium.
