Weiss finishes fourth in XR Superior Showcase opener at Gondik Law

Drawing 40 Late Models, Weiss timed in fifth-fastest in his group before placing second in his heat. With $20,000 on the line in the feature, Ricky gained one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He followed Shane Clanton, Brandon Overton, and Chris Madden across the line with Joseph Joiner coming in fifth.

For another $20,000-to-win A-Main on Tuesday, Ricky followed up a third-to-second showing in his heat with an eighth-to-sixth run in the 40-lap finale.

Ricky is currently ninth in the latest XR Super Series point standings.
