Weiss lands podium spot at Clarksville with Ultimate Heart of America
Extending his busy Memorial Day weekend, Ricky Weiss traveled to Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tenn.) on Tuesday afternoon to compete with the Ultimate Heart of America Series.
Following the third-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Weiss earned a feature position with a runner-up finish in his heat race. For the $10,000-to-win main event, Weiss gained two spots to finish on the podium in third.
Making the quick trip to Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Wednesday, Ricky finished seventh in his heat race before transferring to the feature with a third-place in his B-Main. In the $23,023-to-win feature, Weiss charged forward 12 spots to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
