Weiss breaks through for first victory at Central Arizona Raceway in 2024

Returning for another weekend of racing, Ricky Weiss unloaded his G-Style Transport No. 7 at Central Arizona Raceway (Casa Grande, Ariz.) on Thursday afternoon to kick off the second weekend of the Ernie Mincy Early Thaw.

Earning the 14th starting position after a third-place run in his heat, Weiss gained 10 positions on his way to a Top-5 finish in fourth.

With the field elevated to 32 Late Models on Friday, Ricky moved forward four positions in his heat race which placed him on the pole position of the A-Main. Leading all 30-laps to a $2,500 payday, Weiss scored his first victory of the young 2024 season.

For Saturday's $3,000-to-win finale, Ricky finished runner-up to fellow Sniper Chassis teammate Dustin Bluhm while Shane Edginton completed the Top-5.
