Weiss 11th in Mountain Moonshine Classic finale at Smoky Mountain Speedway
With a very quick turnaround from Kokomo, Ricky Weiss checked in to Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the first night of the Mountain Moonshine Classic.
With 42 Late Models signed in on Friday, Weiss snagged the final transfer spot in his heat race before finishing 14th in the $10,000-to-win feature.
Finding himself in a B-Main on Saturday, Ricky finished second and earned his spot in the $50,000-to-win finale. Charging from 20th, Weiss finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
